June Arlene Youso, 74, of Rogers, Ark., formerly of Havre, Mont., passed away April 24, 2009, at a Rogers hospital.
Youso was born June 1, 1934 in Gildford, Mont., to Fred and Achsah Huestis Crites. She married the late Harry Youso Jr. On July 13, 1952, and continued to reside in Havre until moving to Arkansas in 2006. June was a store associate for Kmart in Havre for many years until her retirement in 1993. She was a member of the Presbyteryan Church of Havre. She also enjoyed bowling, ceramics and dancing in her younger years. June's greatest happiness came from being with her family, especially her grandchildren — her pride and joy. June is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons and 10 brothers and sisters. She is survived by three sisters, Larena Stewart of Winterhaven, Calif., Doreen Rutter of Rainier, Wash. And Jeanne Johnston of Astoria, Ore.; her daughter, Kimberly (Stephen) of Rogers, Ark.; her son, Ronald (Karen) of Dallas, Ore; three grandchildren, Christopher (Bekki) Youso of Dallas, Ore., Morgan (Nick) Jensen of Roland, Okla., and Jared Swanson of Bozeman, Mont.; and four great-grandchildren, Cole, Isabella, Rylee and Makenzie. A memorial luncheon will be held in Havre at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the contributor's choice.
