MRS. WILBURN PASSES AWAY THIS MORNING
TIPTON - Mrs. Blanche E. Mundell Wilburn, of 421 North Mill Street, Tipton, died at 1 o'clock this morning at Tipton County Memorial hospital. She had been ill for the past seven months.
Born Mar. 9, 1887 in Hamilton county, she was the daughter of Henry and Ellen Peters. She was married in 1906 to George W. Mundell. He died in 1923. She later married Frank Wilburn who died in 1937. She was the mother of 11 children, eight of whom are living.
Survivors include: the following children, Henry Mundell of Tipton, Mrs. Sarah Pickett, Mrs. Nora Lee Ripberger of Tipton, Walter Mundell of New Castle, Mrs. Elizabeth Tragresser of Tipton, George Mundell, Anderson, David Mundell, Atlanta and Mrs. Eunice Nunemaker of Tipton; two sisters, Mrs. Nora Beck of Kokomo and Mrs. Myrl Shoemaker of Lansing, Mich.
The body is at the Young's funeral home where friends may call. The Rosary will e recited Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock.
Funeral rites will be held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock at St. John's Catholic church. Rev. Jerome Walski will say the Requiem Mass. Burial will be made in Fairview cemetery.
