TIPTON - Nora Lee Ripberger, 90, 410 Washington St., Tipton, died July 30, 2003, at her home.

Born Aug. 26, 1912, in Tipton County, she was the daughter of George Mundell and Blanche (Peters) Mundell Wilburn.

She married Paul Francis Ripberger June 19, 1935. He died June 15, 1971.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Tipton, the Rosary Society and the Tipton County Human Resource Center.

Survivors include children, Edward G. and Judith Kay Ripberger of Tipton, Phillip M. and Nancy Ripberger of Tipton, Martina L. Quillen of Galveston, Michael F. and Betty Ripberger of Bradford, N.H., Stephen P. and Cheryl Ripberger of Tipton and Fred J. Ripberger of Indianapolis; a brother, David Mundell of Tipton; 17 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Mark Anthony Ripberger; a great grandson, Dalton Foerg; four brothers, Henry Mundell, Robert Mundell, Walter Mundell and George Mundell and five sisters, Sara Pickett, Elizabeth Tragesser, Dorothy Mundell, Mable Wilburn and Jeanie Nunemacher.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. Leroy Kinnaman officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery in Tipton.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Young-Nichols Funeral Home in Tipton. A wake and rosary services will begin at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made tot he Tipton County Human Resource Center, 341 W. Jefferson, Tipton, Ind. 46072.
