Passed away unexpectedly Sunday March 29, 2009 at her home, age 93 years. Mary Wheaton was born on May 12, 1915.

She was married to Floyd E. Shaffer, he preceded her in death in 1977.

Mary was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church Frankenmuth.

Surviving are: 3 children; Roland (Ilene) Shaffer of Montogue, MI, Joan ( Dave) Hodges of Florida, Diane (Tim) Dobzrenski of Flint, MI, 13 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and a brother; Francis Wheaton.

Besides her husband Floyd, Mary was preceded in death by 11 siblings and a grandson.

Funeral services will take place at 12:00 PM on Wednesday April 1, 2009 at the Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St., Rev. Joel Willitz will officiate. Mary's family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 AM. until the time of service.
