Dorothy Pauline Wheaton was the daughter of Clark Eugene, Wheaton and Ada Eleanor Coleman Wheaton. Dorothy was born Dec 8, 1908 in Fountain, Mason Co, Michigan, USA. She was the ninth of thirteen children. She grew up in Fountain and attended Reek School. Dorothy was a lifelong resident of Mason County.

Dorothy married William Waldo Smith Aug 19, 1940 in Toledo, Lucas Co, Ohio, USA. Her husband William preceeded her in death in March 8, 1973.

Dorothy and William are the parents of twins Wilma Martha and Wayne William Smith.

Dorothy passed away Saturday, Oct. 9 at Baywood Nursing Home, Ludington, Michigan, at the age of 91.

As well as beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother, Dorothy was the favorite Aunt and Grand Aunt of her very large family and have many named for her.
