Emanuel Bussard, a Winslow township farmer, died Friday forenoon, January 30, 1903, aged 45 years, 9 months and several days. Consumption was the cause of death. Funeral service was held in the Church of God at Emerickville at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, conducted by Rev. Albert Sydow, pastor of Emerickville E.M. church. Interment was made in Bussard graveyard near Emerickville. The deceased is survived by his widow and four or five small children.
