Her parents Francis Marion Parks & Susan McClanahan. They moved to El Campo, Wharton, Texas. 3 members of her family died there including her father. She moved back to Plainview, Tex with the rest of the family and they lived with Joseph and Pyrena Leach (her sister). She was a school teacher.She married at age 29 to James Adam Finney on Nov 16, 1905 in Plainview. They were parents of 5 children. The first 2 died in infancy: Jim b 20 Dec 1906 d, 26 Aug 1909 amd Susie b 17 Feb 1909 d. 3 Mar 1909 both are buried in Plainview Cemetery. Eppie died of kidney failure caused by Typhoid Fever. She was 54 yrs 9 mos 8 days old when she died. Their son Joseph Ray b 6 April 1910 in Plainview married Velma Lorena Powers 16 Jun 1929.She was born 10 April and died aft 2006.They moved to San Bernadino California.
