Hallie moved with her parents to El Campo in 1892. She died at age 20. The cause of her death is unknown. All we have ever heard is that she got chilled in a rain. Franks, Mary Smith and Hallies graves were lost but many years later Francis Marion Jr,Carroll Smith, Shelby Leach went back to New Hope and located the graves and put in markers.
