James Harrison Milner, 86, of Farmersville, Texas, passed away March 23, 2009, at Veterans Nursing Home in Bonham, Texas. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 27, at Hurst's Fielder-Baker Funeral Home Chapel in Farmersville, officiated by Dr. Bart Barber.

James was born in Axtell, Texas, to the late Dennis W. and Zelda Curley Milner. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a truck driver. He was also a member of the Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Oreta Milner, of Farmersville; sister, Helen Holub; brothers, Dennie Milner, of Glen Ellen, Calif., and Earl Milner, of Waco; and many other family members and friends.
