Phares S. Fry, Retired Painter
Phares S. Fry, 88, formerly of Ephrata R2, died Friday at 10:45 a.m. in Denver Nursing Home Inc., where he had been a guest since March 1980.
For many years he had been a painter and paper hanger and also did some wood working. During World War II, he was employed by Sensenich Corp., Lancaster [note - They made propellers].
The husband of the late Hazel A. Allison Fry, who died in June 1980, he was born in Warwick township, a son of the late John M. and Annie Seltzer Fry.
Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Anna Mary Hart, Ephrata, two granddaughters and a great-granddaughter.
