Funeral services for William Frederick Johnson, 85, of Wesley, who died
Wednesday night, Nov. 16 in a Fayetteville hospital, were held Saturday
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Mountain Springs Baptist church, with Rev. Jake
Drake officiating. He was born June 20, 1875 in this county and was a retired
farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Emma, of the home, six sons, Sheridan Johnson of
Wesley, Paul of Bellflower, Calif., Raymond of Fullerton, Calif., Virgil,
Millard and Frederick Johnson of Hindsville; three daughters, Mrs. Lizzie Scott
of Fullerton, Calif., Mrs. Mary Barnett of Buena Park, Calif., and Mrs. Ottis
Sharp of Artesia, Calif; 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Burial was in the Johnson cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral
Home.

Pallbearers were: Norman Boyd, Everett Boyd, Clyde McCoy, Henry Johnson, Rex
Sanders, and Ernest Tooley.
