CHESAPEAKE, VA. - Vernon Mills Sitterson, age 80, of 1208 Commerce St., and a native of North Carolina, who lived in Chesapeake for 21 years, died Sunday in his home.
He had retired from the Naval Air Station.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Doris Angela Sitterson; a step-daughter, Delores Vinalon of Portsmouth; three step-sons, Anthony L. Morrisette of West Haven, Conn.; Donald F. Morrisette of Pottstown, Pa.; and Roy C. Morrisette of Philadelphia; two sisters, Mrs. Pattie Byrum of Edenton and Mrs. Annie S. Ward of Kissimmee, Fla.; and a brother, Jimmy Sitterson of St. Petersburg, Fla.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, Jan. 18th, at 2:00 at the graveside in Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. Frank Hughes, Jr.
