Excerpt -- Mary Catherine Bennett, 80, of Masontown, died Dec. 4, 1994 in Ruby memorial Hospital. She was born May 28, 1914, at Horse Shoe Run, a daughter of the late McClellan and Martha (Waybright) Bennett. She is survived by three sons, Gary Simmons of Atlanta, Ga., McClellan Simmons of Augusta, Ga., and Paul Simmons of Masontown; two daughters, Norma Nixon of Fairmont, and Barbara Schwartz of Newburg, Md. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Simmons in 1968. Burial in the Red Rock Cemetery.
