She was born June 9, 1925 in Preston County, WV a daughter of the Late McClellan Bennett and the late Martha Anna Waybright Bennett.
She was married to Cecil Clarence Slaubaugh who preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Edward C. "Butch" Slaubaugh and wife Chris of Montrose and James E. Slaubaugh of Montrose.
Two daughters, Naomi Summerfield and Catherine Simmons both of Belington, twenty grandchildren, thirty three great grandchildren and forty great great grandchildren also survive.
Also preceding her in death was one son, William Slaubaugh, two daughters, Linda Snyder and Helen Kisner, eight sisters, Mable Cassidy, Annie Marcotte, Jennie Garrett, Mary Simmons, Maggie Pennington, Leona Hanlon, Alta Slaubaugh and Sara Bennett and four brothers, Wesley, Henry, George and Frank Bennett, one grandchild and one great grandchild.
Ada was a homemaker and a Protestant by Faith.
Friends may call from 9:00 am until 10:45 am Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins.
Mrs. Slaubaugh will be moved to the Mountain State Memorial Gardens near Gilman where a graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday.
Pastor Jimmie E. Talllman will officiate and interment will follow.
