Harold G. "Budge" Wooden,age 83, of Bogard, Missouri, passed away December 8, 2003 at Indian Hills Nursing Center, Chillicothe, Missouri.
He was born May 16, 1920 in Dawn, Missouri, the son of Humphrey and Jessie Jane O'Roake Wooden. He attended Wooden School near Dawn.
On February 6, 1940, he married Margaruite Ellen Corf in Carrollton, Missouri. She survives at the home. Harold had been a bulldozer operator for over fifty years. He had worked for Green Quarries, Herberger Construction, International Harvester as a mechanic, Harold Pence Construction and most recently, Wooden & Son Construction. Harold was a Baptist.
Harold is also survived by three children, Janie Birch and husband, James Royce, Bogard, Missouri, Patricia Harper and husband, Alfred, Carrollton, Missouri, Harold Eugene Wooden and wife, Peggy, Hale, Missouri; four sisters, Nadine Trussell, Chillicothe, Missouri, Kathleen Jenks, Sidney, Nebraska, Una Barron, Braymer, Missouri, Neva Corf, Chillicothe, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Brenda and Keith Brock, Jeff and Amberly Harper, Dustin and Danielle Wooden, Deena Wooden, Katie Harper, Jill Harper and Emily Harper; seven step grandchildren, Keri and Ryan Morris, Luke and Chris Floyd and Emma, Adam and Tanner Floyd; five great grandchildren, Cody and Brandy Brock, Mallory Harper, Cassidy and Harlie Wooden; two step great grandchildren, Sandy and Rachel Ryan.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents; eight brothers, John, Buford, Sr., Leo, Henry, Lloyd, Gerald Lyle, Jackie and Lester Wooden; and one daughter, Ruth Ellen Harper.
