Neva Elderzan Corf, age 89, formerly of Bosworth, MO, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2013, at The Baptist Home in Chillicothe.

Neva was born on August 22, 1924, in Carroll County as the youngest of 13 children to Humphrey and Jessie (O'Roark) Wooden. On March 10, 1941, she was married to Leroy Corf. They resided near Bosworth.

Neva was a housewife and mother and in later years worked at Banquet Foods. She was an excellent cook, seamstress, and housekeeper and especially enjoyed growing flowers. Leroy preceded her in death on November 27, 1996. She then resided in Wheeling and Chillicothe. Neva was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and attended Memories in the Making paint classes as well as Baptist Home activities.

She was preceded in death by one son, Bill Corf; brothers, John, Leo (Pete), Henry, Jackie, Buford, Jimmy, Lloyd, Leslie, and Harold; sisters Nadine Trussell, Kathleen Jenks, Una Barron, and one grandson, Ronnie Hughes.
