Mrs. Sophia Anna Sickler of Vergennes died at age 69 on Sunday, August 13, 1961, at the Trinity Lutheran Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.

She was born in 1892 in Ava.

She was married to Harvey Sickler.

She is survived by five daughters, Miss Helen Sickler of Kansas City, Missouri, Mrs. Audrey Law of Murphysboro, Mrs. Gladys Mezo of East St. Louis, Mrs. Carrie Schack of Vergennes and Mrs. Betty Beaubien of Hialeah, Florida; two sons, Harold of Elkville and Paul of St. Louis; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Davis of Dupo; two brothers, Jackson McClure of Murphysboro and Albert McClure of Ava; 25 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.

Her husband and three children preceded her in death.
