An open house will be held Tuesday (February 14) honoring Mr. and Mrs. Frank P. Eckroat on their golden wedding anniversary when their three children will be hosts at the couple's home northwest of Mission. Host will be their son, Frank H. Eckroat of Mission; and their daughters, Mrs. J.W. Doffing of Mission and Mrs. Edgar Gates of Coffeen, Ill.
Friends and neighbors are invited to call between the hours of 3 and 5 P.M. Invitations are being extended through the press only.
Residents of Mission since 1931, Mr. And Mrs. Eckroat were married February 14, 1906 at St. Benedict's Catholic Church in Shawnee, Okla.

Mr. and Mrs Frank Eckroat of Mission observed their 60th wedding anniversary Valentine's Day. They were married Feb. 14, 1906 and have lived in Mission for 35 years. There are three children, Frank Henry Eckroat, of Mission; Mrs. Mable Gates of Coffeen, Ill.; and Mrs. Ann Doffing of Mission. The couple has 11 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

1. Mable Louise Eckroat born September 20,1907 in Oklahoma. She died December 2nd 1981 in Illinois. Mabel married Jacob Martin Rumery brn. August 29, 1900 of Nebraska, Jacob Rumery died Jan. 30th 1947 in Texas. 1st Married on September 14, 1927 in Colorado. He was the son of Frdnd/Emma. Mabel then married 2nd time to Edgar Jas Gates brn. on November 11th 1896 in Illinois. He died Jan. 6th 1969. Mable married Edgar Gates on July 15th 1948 in Texas.

2. Anna Cathrine Eckroat Born, October 26,1909 in Oklahoma. She died February 20, 1996 in Mission, Texas TX.
Anna Catharine Eckroat Married Julius William Doffing. Julius was born Nov. 12, 1904 of Texas. Julius Doffing died December 17, 1986. Anna and Julius married August 8, 1932 in Texas. Julius Doffing was the son of William and Josephine Doffing.

3. Francis Henry "Frank" Eckroat Born, March 4, 1913 in Oklahoma. Francis died in Texas in the Year 1956. Francis married Sylvia Ann Pospisil. Sylvia Pospisil was born October 28, 1913 in Kansas. Francis Henry Eckroat and Sylvia Ann (Pospisil) Eckroat married September 12, 1936 in Texas. Sylvia Ann Pospisil was the daughter of Joseph and Anna Pospisil
