Born to George A and Ruby Spillsbury Brown. Rulon was a specialist in animal husbandry traveling to 13 countries.
Member of the LDS Church serving a mission in West Indies with his wife, Erma and an as usher for the Church for 27 years. He enjoyed reading, writing and serving others. Rulon was a loving father and grandfather.
Survived by wife, Erma, children born to Rulon and Jean (deceased), Robin (Joy), Melissa Crawford, Marlo (Bill) Rice, daughter-in-law Regina Brown, Erma's children, Reginald (Karen) Corona, Ken Corona, Corrine (Tommy Arms) Corona, 24 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren, and sister, Fern Hyer. Preceded in death by son Gary and brothers, Bobby and Paul and sisters, Nelle and Jane.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Brighton 3rd Ward Chapel, 2327 East Bengal Boulevard (7600 South). Friends may call on Sunday, February 1, 2009 at the Cannon Mortuary from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on the day of the services at the Church from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment: Murray City Cemetery.
