KNOX WOMAN, 78, TAKEN BY DEATH
Mrs. Elsie Dittman, 78, wife of Joseph Dittman, died in the Franklin hospital at 9:25 p.m. Sunday.
Mrs. Dittman was born in Beaver township, Clarion county, on December 24, 1871.
She was a member of St. Paul's church and a lifelong resident of the Knox community.
Survivors include her husband of Knox, R.D. 2, and the following children: Frank, Tionesta; Harold and Edward of Bradford; Stanley, address unknown; Mrs. Rell Shettler, Knox; Mrs. Joseph P. McGinty and Mrs. Edward G. Burns of Franklin. Also surviving are two sisters and four brothers, Mrs. Sara Dunkle, Knox R.D. 2; Mrs. Emma Wile, Cleveland, O.; Charles Kline, Sligo; William Kline, Emlenton, R.D. and James and Ruben of Knox, R.D. and 25 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
The body is at the Whitehill funeral home, Knox.
