Ann V. Kirk, 93, a resident of 2922 Blake Ave., Canton, Ohio, since 1995, formerly of Franklin, died at 10 am Wednesday, July 12, 2000, in Pines Nursing Home, Canton. Born Feb. 24, 1907, in Knox, she was a daughter of Joseph and Elsie Kline Dittman.

She retired in 1975 as an aide at Polk Center. She was a member of the Fox Street Church of God.

She married Joseph Kirk of Meadville, who survives, with two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Sally) Mong of Stow, OH, and Mrs. Edward (Linda) Schenck of Canton, OH; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Myrtle McGinty of Franklin. Deceased are her parents; her first husband, Edward Burns, on Nov. 3, 1976; four brothers, Stanley Dittman, Frank Dittman, Harold Dittman and Edward Dittman; and three sisters, Jessie Dittman Klinger, Mabel Dittman Shettler and Lily Dittman.

Services will be at 2pm Saturday in Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home with the Rev. Brenda Aughenbaugh, associate pastor of the Fox Street Church of God, officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
