Boynton Beach, Fla. - Jerry Scott Allison ,66, of Boynton Beach, Fla., passed away on Friday, Jan. 16, 2009, following a sudden illness. Born in New Wilmington, Pa., he was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Dora (Berresford) Allison; and a brother, Blaine Allison. He is survived by two sisters, Barbara Quinones and Trudy Orrick, both of Florida; three sons, Eric Scott Allison (Mary) of Ohio, Andrew J. Allison (Erica) of New York, and Julian Allison of West Palm Beach, Fla.; three daughters, Beth White (Greg) of Pennsylvania, Meg Hassett (Mark) of Ohio, and Molly Reid (Bert) of North Carolina; and 12 grandchildren. A Memorial Service was held on Monday, Jan. 19, 2009, at Quattlebaum Funeral Home in West Palm Beach, Fla. A Memorial Service will be scheduled in East Liverpool, Ohio, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Jerry Scott Allison to: The American Heart Association www.americanheart.org.
