Mrs. Dora Allison

Mrs. Dora E. Allison of 132 Pennsylvania Ave., Chester, owner and operator of the Allison Restaurant on Carolina Ave., Chester, died this morning at 2:15 at home after a lingering illness. She was born in Beaver County, a daughter of Mrs. Lillie Berresford, who resides at the home, and the late Scott Berresford. She was a member of the Chester First Christian Church. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ernest (Barbara) Pirriera of Hayward, Calif., and Mrs. Neil (Trudi) Orrick of Coral Gables, Fla.; two sons, Blaine C. Allison of Hialeah, Fla., and Jerry S. Allison of Chester, and 12 grandchildren. Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Chester Chapel of the Arner Funeral Homes by the Rev. Robert Olson. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery near Burgettstown. Friends may call at the chapel Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday up to the time of service. The family requests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.

Survivors include five brothers, Max Berresford of Chicago, Wayne Berresford of East Liverpool, Arnott Berresford of Scottsdale, Pa., Samuel Berresford of Burgettstown and Clifford Berresford of New Castle, and four sisters, Mrs. Sherman (Ardean) Harris of Burgettstown, Mrs. Robert Lower of Ambridge, Mrs. Cy (Jean) Hobbs of Chester and Mrs. William (Oma) Nicholson of Pittsburgh. Friends may call at the chapel today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday up to the time of service
