William Marshall Mack

William Marshall Mack, 77, of 2259 Travis, died at 10 p.m. Thursday in the MediCenter, where he had been a patient for a short time.

A veteran of World War I, he was former resident of Ohio, where he was employed as an optician, associated with the American Optical Company. He returned here 11 years ago, upon retirement.

Mr. Mack was an active member of the Masonic Order, with membership in Solomon Blue Lodge and the Royal Arch Masons.

A native of Springfield, he was a member of South Street Christian Church, where he was a deacon emeritis and an active member of the 50-50 class.

Surviving are his wife, Emma; a son, Jack Allen, Cincinnati, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Raymond Rule, Springfield, and three grand-children.
