J. W. CRAIG IS DEAD
Passed Away at St. Joseph's Hospital after Lingering Illness.
J. W. CRAIG, of 418 North Main Street, died yesterday rooming at St.
Joseph's Hospital after a lingering illness. For the past few days he has been in a serious condition and complications with catarrh caused his death.
For the past four years he has made his home in this city, coming here from Downs, where he was born on October 2, 1854. When he was 20 years of age he was united in marriage to Miss Eliza Clement of Old Town.
His wife died six years ago. To this marriage the following children were born:
W. A. Craig, who is employed on the Illinois Traction system; Mrs. Jesse Kimler, Mrs. Harris Peterson and Clifford Craig, all of Pontiac Mrs. W. A. Wilcox of Fairbanks, la.; Ralph Craig of Warsaw, la., and Mrs. V. D. Atkins of Oakland, California.
He also leaves the following brothers and sisters: A. B. Craig, J. J. Craig, and Mrs. Kazar of Downs. One son, Earl, died in early infancy and a daughter Pearl died May 5, 1910.
Mr. Craig was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the local order of Odd Fellows No. 77. A few days ago, Mr. Craig realized his condition was such that he could not recover and had made the plans he wished carried out at his funeral.
The funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at Downs. Rev. Mr. Bodell of this city will officiate. Interment Is to be made at the Downs Cemetery.

Funeral of Jesse Craig
The Funeral of Jesse W. Craig was held yesterday from the Presbyterian church in Downs, at 10 o'clock. Rev. W. A. Bodell of Bloomington, officiated. Internment was made in the Hopewell cemetery at that place. The funeral party left this city at 9 o'clock yesterday morning.
