Mrs. Trudie Adams, 63, died at her home in Fort. Worth at 5:45 a.m. Saturday.
She was born in Van Zandt County, and had lived in Fort. Worth for a number of years. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Mrs. Adams is survived by her husband, Pike Adams of Fort. Worth; one daughter, Mrs. Virginia Fussell of Fort. Worth; four brothers, the Rev. Alton Dodd and G. W. Dodd both of Athens, R. C. Dodd of Wylie, and Darrell Dodd of Lubbuck; three sisters, Mrs. Mae Hassell of Dallas, Mrs. Ozell Benton of Fort Worth, and Mrs. Ernest Brown of Athens, and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday at 3 p.m. from graveside in Athens City Cemetery with Hassell and Foster in charge.
