WINNFIELD -- Services for William Troy Adams will be at 3 p.m. today in the chapel of Southern with the Revs. Jimmie Herring, Willis Russell and Colquet Martin officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Grove Cemetery, Dodson.

Adams, 88, of Dodson died at 1 a.m. Tuesday, July 27, 1993, in Winn Parish Medical Center.

He was a deacon of Fellowship Baptist Church and a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters No. 1811.

Survivors include two sons, William Glynn Adams of Dodson and Kenneth Duane Adams of Bastrop; four daughters, Virginia Dale Culpepper of Pasadena, Texas, Viaud Walker of Atlanta, Texas, Jimmie Tarver of Winnfield and Lafaye Horne of Atlanta; two brothers, Leroy Adams of Shreveport and Willie Adams of Georgetown, Texas; three sisters, Cora Lea Jeter and Lavenia Thompson, both of Shreveport, and Marcelle King of Salada, Texas; 21 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 8 a.m. until time of services today in the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Carl Adams, Delane Walker, Robert Horne, Charles Culpepper, Steve Burnett and Douglas Tarver.
