Funeral services for Mrs. Lavenia Adams Thompson, 80, will be held at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel, Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. Reverend Bill Stowell will officiate. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Tuesday, October 5, 2004 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Thompson was born December 21, 1923 in Gaars Mill, LA to the late Henry and Lula Adams. She entered into rest, Monday, October 4, 2004 in Shreveport, LA.

Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, James B. Thompson and grandson, Bryan Eddings.

Her loving memory will be cherished by her daughter, Bonnie Eddings and husband, Pat; grandson, Bradley Eddings and wife, Kim; great-granddaughter, Blake Isabella Eddings; sister, Marcelle Powell and husband, Ralph; brother, Leroy Adams [and] wife, Sybil and host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Terry Penn, Carl Greig, Melvyne Primos, Terry Primos, Robert Adams and Richard Adams.

The family suggests memorial donations to be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, Buncombe Road.
