Mrs. French Dies Friday

Mrs. Elizabeth French of 410 S. St Clair Street died Friday evening at 8 o'clock at her home.
A native of Marion county, she was born May 9, 1895, the daughter of Sherman and Dessie Baker. Her marriage to Homer French, who preceded her in death, took place in 1942. [sic]

The 72-year-old woman moved to this community eleven years ago from Indianapolis.

Surviving her is a son; two sisters in Martinsville, Mrs. Irma Terrell and Mrs. Claudia Yount, and two brothers, Custer Baker of Bargersville and Kye Baker of Cashmere, Wash. A granddaughter also survives her. Three sisters and one brother preceded her in death.

Funeral services have been set for Monday afternoon at 1:30 at the Neal and Summers Mortuary with the Rev. Sam Young, pastor of the Providence Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Harris Cemetery in Union Township, Johnson County. Friends may call at the mortuary after noon on Sunday.
