Services for John Matteson, 71, Soap Lake, Wash., were at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5, 1984, in Pitts Chapel with the Rev. George Baker officiating. Burial was in Enon Cemetery south of Bolivar under the direction of Pitts Funeral Home.
Mr. Matteson died Monday, Oct. 29, in his home after a short illness.
A native of the Bolivar area, he was a longtime resident of Soap Lake, Wash. He was an antique furniture dealer and a retired farmer.
Survivors include two sisters, Lenora Meyer, St. Charles, and Alta Haynes, Tacoma, Wash.; and three brothers, Arthur, state of Oklahoma, and Clyde and Dale, both of the state of Oregon.
Escorts were Kenneth Meyer, Sylvester Meyer, and Charley Ealey.
