Mrs Sam Kennington, who had the flu about a month ago, died with pneumonia Tuesday.
The Grim Reaper takes from this world the loving wife and mother of Mr Sam Kennington and children.
Mrs Kennington has been sick for four weeks and two days. She first had the flu followed by plural pneumonia and leakage of the heart. The funeral will be held in this ward and the remains taken to Afton for burial. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the heart broken father and children

The burial of Mrs Sam Kennington of Etna took place in this city the latter part of last week, no funeral services being held owing to the contagious nature of the disease with which she died.
Rachael Clement was born in Oxford, Idaho and at the time of her death was 39 years and two months of age. In 1899 she was united in marriage to Sam Kennington, and they have lived in Star Valley almost continually since that time. To this union were born six children, all of whom survive and are left motherless by her untimely death. Mrs Kennington had been ill one month and her death was the result of plural pneumonia and leakage of the heart.
