Mrs. Maria Elizabeth Beyer [who] for some time past had been making
her home with her son David Beyer, of 2146 Columbia avenue, died there
at 8.15 Sunday morning from senile debility. She was a native of
Clearfield county and was born March 20, 1842. Her parents were
Frederick and Wilhelmina Shoff. She was married to Solomon Beyer at
Clearfield in May of 1860. He died some years ago. She leaves two
daughters, Mrs. Nell Griffith, of Ramey, Pa., Mrs. Thomas Donnelly, of
Isett, Pa., and one son, David Beyer, at whose home she passed away.
She also leaves one brother and five sisters. The body will be taken
to Franklinville for interment, the time for which will be determined
today.
