John O Brady, 72, of Boise died Sat., Sept. 12, 1992 at a Boise hospital of natural causes.
Graveside services will be held at 2pm Thurs, Sept. 17, at the Field of Honor in Morris Hill Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Tom J Blackburn of Community Christian Center. Services are under the direction of Cloverdale Funeral Home. Graveside Rites by the American Legion Post 2 and VFW Post 63.
John was born in Boise, March 11, 1920, a son of John Andrew Brady and Ennis Shirley Brady. He grew up in the Boise Valley and graduated from Boise High School in 1938. He joined the US Army in 1939 and served in the US Calvary until that unit was mechanized. He served in the Field Artillery during World War II. After his honorable discharge in 1944, John worked in logging camps and sawmills in Idaho, Montana and Nevada. He later worked for Inland Coca-Cola Bottling Co., in Boise until ill health forced him to retire.
Survivors include two sons, John of California and Mike of Nevada; two sisters and their husbands, Bonnie and Chuck Brock of Boise and Burness and Clay Rainwater of Boise; Johnny was a very special uncle to 22 nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents (John A and Ennis Brady), a brother (Thomas Brady) and a sister (Shirley Trautman).
