She was a native of George County and a member of the Baptist faith. She died August 31 following an extended illness.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce Hobby of Warner Robbins, GA.; a son, Jeffery Bruce Hobby of Georgia; three daughters, Eleanor Joy Evans of Wilmer, Ala.; Mary Evelyn Eubanks of Lucedale; and Faye Ellen McDonald of Georgia and 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Also surviving are three sisters, Bessie Jean Dixon and Ruth Moody, both of Texas and Marshall Baker of Florida; and two brothers, Bill Stinson of Washington and Clifton Stinson of Florida.
Services were conducted by Rev. Richard A. Monroe. Interment was in Magnolia Cemetery with George County Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers included Greg Evans, Lance Roberts, Dennis Roberts, Tim Roberts, Benny Eubanks, Mike Havard, Charles E. Eubanks and Dawson G. Wilkerson.
