Graveside services for Hazel James Condron of Tyler will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Davis Cemetery in Grapeland. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey and Foster Funeral Home Chapel Grapeland. Mrs. Condron was born March 14, 1931 in Grapeland to John and Linnie James. She went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday Nov. 26, 2008. Mrs. Condron married Harold Ira Condron on May 16, 1951. She was a dedicated member of Green Acres Baptist Church, a member of the Joy Sunday School Class and Highest Praise Choir. She served as Mother Advisor for the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls and Worthy Matron for the Order of the Eastern Star. She also volunteered for Legacy Hospice of Tyler and for Tyler Area Senior Citizens. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold Condron; sisters, Maudine Dailey and Pearl Clark; brothers, Roy Bell James, Dan James, Tom James, Leonard James, John R. James and Bill James. Mrs. Condron is survived by brothers, Loyd James, Doyle James, Wade James and Dalton James. Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Bailey and Foster Funeral Home Chapel Grapeland. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Legacy Hospice, 120 East South Town Drive, Tyler, Texas 75703, and Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 383 Main Avenue 5th Floor, Norwalk, CT. 06851.
