MRS. JAMES RALPH PADGETT
FOWLER - Gladys Emma Padgett, 81, died July 11, 1986, at Meade District Hospital. Born Gladys Emma Anderson July 3, 1905, at Buffalo, Oklahoma, she married James Ralph Padgett December 5, 1925, at Wichita. She was a resident of Fowler since 1926.
Survivors: sons, Kenneth and Lyman, both of Fowler; daughter, Evelyn Edwards, Meade; sister, Helen Steptanic, Eureka; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Fowler Christian Church, Tom Walters and Gordon Berryman, ministers. Burial will be in the Fowler Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday at Fidler-Orme Mortuary, Meade.
