Maxine Helms, 91, was a daughter of Edward & Lydia Rogers Karrick. She married Meredith Helms May 19, 1941.

Mrs. Helms was a member of the Liberty Center Baptist Church and was very active in the American Baptist Women's Missions. She was a member of the Rural Friendship Home Economics Club and enjoyed traveling.

Survivors include Sons-Lee Helms and Neil(Rebecca) Helms of Warren,IN and David Helms of Poneto,IN. Brother-Eugene Karrick of Lafayette,IN. and Sister-LaVonne (Verlin) Fuller of McMinville, OR. 6 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren and 4 Step Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in Death by her husband, Meredith, her parents, Brothers: Everett, Elmer and Ervin Karrick, Sisters: Katherine Modaffari, Grace Brenton, Lena Miller and Mabel Brewington, and a daughter-in-law Marlene Helms.
