Wilford F. Burton, Early Pioneer, Dies at Hospital
Wilford F. Burton, 87, early Star Valley pioneer and prominent citizen of Afton, died Wednesday morning, Nov 4 at the Star Valley LDS Hospital, of causes incident to age. He had been ill for some time, and had been living at the home of his daughter, Mrs Wilma B, Croft.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Nov. 7 at 1 p.m. in the Afton Second-Third Ward Chapel, under the direction of the Third Ward Bishopric.
Friends are invited to call at the Schwab Mortuary Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. or at the church lounge Friday morning from 11 a.m. until funeral time.
