Mrs. Eva B. Cody, 86, of Nashport Route 2 died at 1:25 a.m. Tuesday in the Lighthizer Nursing Home where she had been a patient since April 1, 1968.
She was a member of the Mount Olive United Methodist Church.
Born Sept. 21, 1884, near Nashport, she was a daughter of Joseph and Jennie Dorothy Claypool Varner.
Her husband, Myron, died April 1, 1956.
Surviving is one brother, George E. Varner of Nashport Route 2.
Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Baughman and Sons Funeral Home in Frazeysburg.
Service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Elder James S. Bibler will officiate, and burial will be in Beulah Cemetery.
