Sarah was the daughter of Robert Alexander & --(Gibson)Alexander of Air Township, Bedford County (now Fulton Co,)PA. She was the sister of James Alexander. She was born Feb 6, 1799 (Andrew Alexander Family Bible) On Nov 6,1836, she was dismissed from the Presbyterian Church in McConnellsburg,PA. to go to Bedford, Ohio, (actually Bedford Twp.) to be near her brother James Alexander, who lived there with his family. Sarah never married. She died August 20, 1849, aged 48 years. (Andrew Alexander family Bible) in Bedford Twp or Northfield, Ohio.
