Edward Alma (Eddie) Torgersen, 85, of Koosharem, died May 18, 1990 at his home.

Born April 10, 1905 in koosharem to Torval and Josephine Tomine Fredrickson. Married Bedelia Frederick February 8, 1935; solemnized November 30, 1948 in the Manti LDS Temple. She died November 19, 1974.Survived by five sons and daughter, Garth, Provo; Mrs. Dan (LaRee) Porter, Placentia, Calif.; Larry, Whitefish, Montana; Noel, Annabella; Rodney, Mapleton; Dwaine, Midvale; sister, Eva Haynes, Salina; four brothers, Rulon, Reuben, both Koosharem; Lynn, Sigurd; Leland, Marysville, Calif.; 27 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, son, Ted Gerald; two sisters and seven brothers.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 22, 1 p.m., Koosharem LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary in Richfield, Monday, 7-9 p.m. and at the ward chapel in Koosharem, 11:30-12:30 Tuesday morning. Interment, Koosharem Cemetery.
