FILLMORE — Orlo Verne Bartholomew, 78, died June 7, 1976, in a Fillmore hospital after a long illness.
Born in Fillmore Sept. 9, 1897, to Verne and Emma Day Bartholomew. Married Zola Lyman April 21, 1920 Manti LDS Temple; she died April 8, 1948.
Married Lila Crapo Coombs.
Survivors: wife; sons, daughters, Duane, Mrs. Garn (Beth) Whatcott, Mrs. Scott (Shirley) Stephenson, all Fillmore; Carlyle, Kearns; stepdaughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Doreen) Hare, Fillmore; 21 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren;
brothers, sister, Loy, Mrs. Nada Melville, both Fillmore; Dewey, Arcadia, Calif.
Funeral Thursday 1 p.m., Fillmore 2nd LDS Ward. Friends call Olpin Mortuary, Fillmore, Wednesday 8-9 p.m., Thursday prior to services. Burial, Fillmore Cemetery.
