FILLMORE — Loy D. Bartholomew, age 78, died September 22, 1977, in a Fillmore hospital, of cancer.

Born in Fillmore, Utah, May 4, 1899, to Verne and Emma Day Bartholomew. Married Juliaett Callister, April 16, 1919, Fillmore, Utah. She died June 27, 1941. Married Ireta Jensen, March 11, 1942, Las Vegas, Nevada. Farmer and stock raiser by occupation. Member of the LDS Church.

Survivors: wife; one son: Vernon,
Los Angeles, California; daughters: Mrs. Emil (Donna) Carlson, Murray; Mrs. Lester (Jean) Dobson, Holden, Utah; one stepson: Nolan Warner; Sacramento,
California; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one sister: Mrs. Nada Melville, Fillmore, Utah; one brother: Dewey, Los Angeles, California.

Funeral services Saturday, 1 p.m., Fillmore 1st LDS Ward Chapel. Friends call at the Olpin Mortuary, Fillmore, Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment Fillmore City Cemetery.
