Zola Lyniau Bartholomew
FILLMORE, Millard county, April 9, Mrs. Zola Lyman Bartholomew, 51, wife of Arnold V. Bartholomew, died Thursday night in a Cedar City hospital of a heart ailment, following an operation.

She was born in Salt Lake City Aug. 23, 1896, a daughter of Waller C. and Elizabeth Finlinson Lyman. She lived in Blanding, San Juan county, until 1910, when she came to Fillmore where she was employed as a telephone operator. She was married to Mr. Bartholomew April 21, 1920, in the Manti temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She had been active in the Mutual Improvement Assoc., Relief Society and Singing Mothers LDS organizations.

Surviving: besides her husband, are three sons and two daughters, all of Fillmore: Dwane, Francis, Carlyle, Beth and Shirley Bartholomew: two grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters of Blanding: Marvin, Ray, Fred. George, Lynn and Barton Lyman: Mrs. Ethel Thompson, Mrs. Margaret Jones, Mrs. Susan Buts: and a brother, Bruce Lyman, Provo, and sister, LaRue Lyman, California.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. in the Fillmore Second LDS ward chapel by Milton A. Mellville, bishop. Burial will be in the Fillmore cemetery under direction of the Olpin Mortuary, Fillmore.
