Mollie Axe, 93, a longtime Paducah resident, passed away Wednesday
Oct 8, 2008.
FUNERAL SERVICES are scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday Oct 10th
at the First Christian Church of Paducah with brother Jerry Don McClendon
officiating. Interment will follow at the Paducah Garden of Memories
Cemetery under the direction of Seigler Funeral Home.

Mollie was born Aug 19, 1915 in Nacogdoches, TX to Lynn Chester
and Sarah Lou (Chapman) Hanks. the Hanks family moved to Paducah
in 1924 and she received her education in the Paducah schools.
In 1937 she married the love of her life Albert E Axe.

Mollie was a member of the First Christian Church and a very
dedicated wife and homemaker. She was a excellent cook and
enjoyed cooking for any occasion within her church or community
that needed a good meal.

Mollie was preceded in death by her parents,5 of her siblings
and her husband of 66 years, Albert Axe.
She is survived by her sister Patricia Richards of Hobbs NM
and a wealth of close and dear friends
