Graham County Rancher Dies
SAFFORD, Jan. 23. - Nate T. Kempton, 51 years old, prominent Graham county resident, was found dead at his home near Solomonville late last night. Mr. Kempton was believed to have succumbed to an attack of heart disease.
Mr. Kempton was prominent as a cattleman and rancher in Graham county for many years and served several terms as a member of the county board of supervisors. He was a brother of Martin Kempton, deputy sheriff, killed in the fight with the Powers brothers during the World war in the Klondyke section.
Mr. Kempton was a member of the Latter Day Saints church and was active in the religious work of this vicinity.
Funeral arrangements were being withheld pending word from Mr. Kempton's other who was in Phoenix. Mr. Kempton also is survived by the widow and six children.
