SAFFORD - Services for Mary Leavirn Gilpin, 88, who died July 19, 1978, while visiting her son in Yuma, will be at 9 a.m. today at Safford Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gilpin moved to Safford about 1900. She lived in Mesa from 1931 to 1945 and later returned to Safford.

Survivors include her son, Charles; a daughter, Mrs. Dawn Leavitt; two brothers; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
