Michael Bohach, 1104 Market Ave., Farrell, a veteran of World War II, died at 2 a.m. today, September 10, 1952, at the Erie Veterans Hospital following an illness of several months duration. He was 47.

Mr. Bohach was a lifelong resident of the Shenango Valley. He was born in Sharon on August 16, 1905, a son of John Bohach Sr. and the late Anna Martinko Bohach. Prior to his illness, he had been employed in the cold roll department of the Sharon Steel Corp.

Mr. Bohach served three years with the U. S. Army Signal Corps. during World War II. A technician fifth grade, he participated in both the African and European invasions.

He was a member of St. Michael's Relief Association, the Slovak Home of Farrell, the Farrell Carpo-Russ Club and Preston H. Carroll Post 160 American Legion.

He is survived by his father of Farrell; five sisters, Anna, wife of George Husosky, Sharon, Helen, wife of Nick Ladjevich, Sharon, Mary, wife of Michael Kachic Jr., Margaret, wife of Walter Ulasz, and Bertha, wife of William Turk, all of Farrell; and four brothers, George of Weirton, W. Va., John of Wheatland, and Joseph and Andrew both of Sharon.
