Joseph Bohach, 298 Cohasset Drive, Hermitage, died at 7:30 p.m., Monday February 13, 1989 in Sharon General Hospital where he was a patient 13 days. He was 79.

Mr. Bohach was born in Farrell, November 6, 1909, to John Bohach, Sr., and Anna Marchinko Bohach.

A lifelong resident of Farrell, he attended Farrell Schools.

A painter by trade, he was affiliated with International Brotherhood of Painters and Allied Trades Local 1066 for 30 years, retiring in 1975.

Mr. Bohach was a member of St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church, Hermitage.

A veteran, he served with the Army as a staff sergeant during World War II in the European theater.

Surviving are his wife, the former Helen Rogan, whom he married August 1, 1949; and three sisters, Mrs. George (Anna) Husosky, Masury, Mrs. Michael (Mary) Kachic, Farrell, and Margaret Ulasz, Farrell.

He was preceded in death by five brothers, George, John, Michael, Andrew, and Stephen; and four sisters, Julia and Elsie Bohach, Bertha Turk and Helen Ladjevich.
