LAKE BENTON - Services for Manley Bartlow, 73, of Lake Benton will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church in Lake Benton. Burial will be in the Diamond Lake Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. today at the Utoft-Johansen Funeral home in Lake Benton with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Manley (typo error from newsprint) died Friday, October 1, 1993 at the Vadhiem Memorial Hospital in Tyler.
He was born July 4, 1920, to Wesley and Sarah (Rockwell) Bartlow in Westline Township in Redwood County. He moved to a farm in Amiret Township with his family, where he attended rural school. He farmed with his parents and moved to a farm in Diamond Lake Township in 1950. In 1962 he sold the farm and moved to Tyler with his sister. After his sister's death he moved into Valley Manor Apartments in Lake Benton.
He is survived by his sisters, Cleo Kor of Marshall and Alice Cahow of Tyler; brothers, Harold of Balaton, DeWayne of Monticello Ark., and Ernest of Winter Garden, Fla.
He was preeded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
